Joe Bilman

Joe Bilman is Chief Digital Officer of Harland Clarke Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of MacAndrews & Forbes, and oversees the growth strategy for $4B in assets including Harland Clarke, Valassis, RetailMeNot and Scantron. His role is to help identify strategic growth opportunities for HCH’s portfolio companies including M&A, product innovation and business optimization. He is also Head of Product Development for Valassis and Harland Clarke.

Recently, he was Chief Digital Officer and Global Head of Business Development at American Media Inc., where he had P&L responsibility for AMI’s digital business and oversight of all business development activities. Prior to AMI, Bilman was acting Head of Product for Softcard, a pioneering joint venture between Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile in the mobile payments space.

Previously, he was Chief Product Officer for Fox Mobile Group, a division of Newscorp, where he ran product in 34 countries. In this position, he transformed Jamba, the world’s largest mobile content company and a wholly owned asset of Fox Mobile, and created Bitbop, the world’s first on-demand TV and movie subscription service for mobile devices

Joe Bilman earned an MFA in computer art and a BFA in film and video from New York’s School of Visual Arts. In 2010, he was named one of “The Digital Power 50” by The Hollywood Reporter.

Anthony Scriffignano, Ph.D.

Anthony Scriffignano in an internationally recognized data scientist with experience spanning over 35 years, in multiple industries and enterprise domains. Dr. Scriffignano has extensive background in linguistics and advanced algorithms, leveraging that background as primary inventor on multiple patents worldwide. He provides thought leadership globally. Recently, he briefed the US National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee regarding reports to the President on Big Data Analytics, Emerging Technologies Strategic Vision, and Internet and Communications Resilience. Additionally, Scriffignano provided expert advice on private sector data officers to a group of state Chief Data Officers and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. He also served as a forum panelist and keynote speaker at the World Internet Conference hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping in Wuzhen, China. He was recently published in CIO. com, Huffington Post, The Hill, PCWeek (Russia), Mint (India) and quoted in various publications including Forbes Insights, China Daily, Xinhua, Taiwan News and Bangkok Post. He was profiled by InformationWeek and by BizCloud, and is a frequent CXOTalk guest. He regularly presents at business, government and academic venues globally regarding emerging trends in data and information stewardship, the “Big Data” explosion, artificial intelligence, multilingual challenges in business identity and malfeasance in commercial settings.

Jon Bond

Jon Bond is one of the advertising and marketing industry’s most recognized thought leaders and entrepreneurs. He has developed several significant companies and marketing concepts over his 30-year career. He was Co-founder and CEO of Kirshenbaum Bond and Partners (KBP). In 2010, KBP sold to MDC. Billings were approximately $1B at the time and clients included BMW, Citi, Victoria’s Secret, Target, Wendy’s, and the Coca Cola Company. The company also spawned Media Kitchen and Varick (one of the first trading desks). From 2010 to 2012, Jon was CEO of Big Fuel (now part of Publicis), one of the world’s largest social media agencies. Big Fuel’s clients included General Motors, Gatorade, Chase, and T-Mobile.

Jon has also been an investor / advisor to Simplifi, Klout, Crimson Hexagon, Data Xu, Victors & Spoils, White Ops, Sonobi, and Accordant media.

Joe Caserta

Joe Caserta is an internationally recognized public speaker, entrepreneur, technologist, and founding President of Caserta. Joe co- authored The Data Warehouse ETL Toolkit, an industry bestselling book that has become the standard for preparing data for analytics. Joe is recognized as an authority on enterprise data analytics and continues to innovate and expand his role in the industry. Joe’s consulting firm, Caserta, remains at the forefront of the data analytics revolution, devising the most unique and advanced analytics environments in use today.

Eric Hellweg

Hellweg leads the strategic direction for all of Harvard Business Review’s digital products, including HBR.org, the iPad app, smartphone apps, and new product development and user experience. Hellweg joined HBR in February 2006 as the organization’s first online editorial hire, and during this time, HBR.org has grown from 150k monthly uniques to nearly 6 million, and has become a leader across social media channels.

HBR.org re-launched in late 2014 and has posted record traffic and subscription sales since then, also winning the Best Design award at the Digiday Publishing Awards in March, beating out Quartz, The Guardian, and Bloomberg Politics.

Prior to joining HBR, Hellweg served as an executive editor at Forrester Research and an online columnist at CNN Money and MIT’s Technology Review. Hellweg was a founding editor of Business 2.0 magazine. Other previous engagements include freelance articles for publications such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Wired, SPIN, RollingStone.com, and many others.

David Mathison

David Mathison is the curator of the Chief Digital Officer Summit and founder of the CDO Club.

He is the world’s leading authority on Chief Digital and Data officers, and has been quoted by the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, Computerworld, McKinsey & Company, MIT Sloan Management Review, CMS Wire, ZDNet, Fierce CIO, and I-CIO, among others.

He was previously the founder and Managing Director of the Digital Media practice at Chadick Ellig, a premiere executive search consultancy named by Business Week as “one of the world’s most influential headhunters.

Mathison’s book, BE THE MEDIA, was featured in the NY Times after he pre-sold over 5,000 copies in 11 days via his web site, Twitter, and Facebook.

He has given keynote presentations everywhere from Columbia University to the United Nations (3 times in 2010), from Amsterdam to Zagreb.

From 1999-2001 he was founder and CEO of the Kinecta Corporation where he raised $30 million in under 2 years. Kinecta was acquired and is now part of Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL).

From 1994-1999 Mathison was Vice President with Thomson Reuters, the world’s largest news agency, where he pioneered online content syndication.

Mathison earned his Masters degree from Columbia University in 1995.
